J. Michael Applegate, President and CEO
Mike is President of ProAccess
Internet Services, LLC. Throughout his career, he has had executive, managerial and consulting experience within a broad range of industries including Computer Technology, Associations, Public Accounting and Manufacturing. Within
these industries he has demonstrated leadership in the areas of technology, finance, sales and marketing.
The first half of his career focused on financial and technical areas. As a CPA and Consultant with Coopers and Lybrand and with his own CPA firm, he
was heavily involved in computer system design, certified audits, business acquisitions and system implementation. During the last 30 years he has held various sales, marketing and technical management positions with major
computer hardware and software manufacturers and professional services providers, including National Marketing Director for Honeywell Bull, and Regional Sales, Marketing and Technical Manager positions with Unisys. In his most
recent past position as Vice President of Marketing for MAI Systems, he developed and implemented the company’s successful Internet marketing strategy. Mike has also served on the Board of Directors of the Software Council
of Southern California.
